BMW F 450 GS Features, Specs & Expected Launch in India

Title 2

The BMW F 450 GS is a mid-capacity adventure motorcycle powered by a new 420 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, bridging the gap between small ADV bikes and larger tourers.

It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), which can automatically disengage at low speeds — ideal for twisty roads and off-road sections.

A large 6.5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, Bluetooth and ride data comes standard across variants.

The bike uses a tubular steel frame with KYB upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock for 180 mm travel — great for mixed terrain.

The F 450 GS offers various ride modes (Rain, Road, Enduro and Enduro Pro) along with cornering ABS Pro, dynamic traction control and dynamic brake control.

It features full LED lighting, heated grips, adjustable controls, and rugged ADV styling that reflects heritage from bigger BMW GS models.

BMW will offer several trims like Base, Exclusive, Sport, and Trophy, helping riders pick options from basic to fully loaded adventure gear packages.

With twin-cylinder smoothness, advanced electronics, and lightweight handling (~178 kg), the F 450 GS aims to be one of the best balanced ADV bikes for both new riders and seasoned travellers.
